Texas Summarized PEIMS Financial Data
How much money does your school district get, where does it come from, and how much does it spend on teachers versus administration? This dataset answers those questions for every Texas school district over the past 17 years. You can see federal dollars, state funding, and property tax revenue broken out separately. You can also see how much each district spends on classroom instruction, counseling, food service, athletics, and dozens of other functions. The data is already totaled up by district, so you don't need to piece together thousands of line items. It's useful for understanding how Texas funds its schools and comparing spending patterns across regions.
