By using OpenData (the "Service"), you're agreeing to these terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organization, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

If you don't agree to these terms, please don't use the Service.

To use OpenData, you need to:

• Be at least 13 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
• Provide accurate account information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You're responsible for all activity under your account.

You retain ownership of datasets and content you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a license to:

• Store and process your datasets
• Display and distribute public datasets you create
• Create backups and maintain service reliability

You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit.

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use the Service for spam or automated abuse
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

When using our API, you agree to:

• Respect rate limits and usage quotas
• Not circumvent authentication or access controls
• Attribute OpenData when required by your license tier
• Not use automated tools to scrape or overwhelm the service

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy or completeness of third-party data
• That the Service will meet all your requirements

You use the Service at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenData and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

OpenData may offer free and paid service tiers. We reserve the right to:

• Introduce, modify, or discontinue service plans at any time
• Change which features are available in free vs. paid tiers
• Adjust pricing for paid plans with at least 30 days' notice
• Set or modify usage limits, quotas, or rate limits for any tier

Features currently available at no cost may be moved to a paid tier in the future. We'll provide reasonable notice before making changes that materially reduce the functionality of a plan you're using.

Continued use of the Service after plan changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may cancel your account and export your data before the changes take effect.

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
