Texas School District Tax Rates and Levies

How much property tax different Texas school districts charge, and where that money goes. Every school district sets two main tax rates: one for day-to-day operations (maintenance and operations) and one to pay off debt they've borrowed. This data shows both rates for every district from 2021 to 2025, along with the actual dollar amounts they collect, how many property dollars they're taxing, and what voters approved. If you want to know whether your school district's taxes went up, how they compare to a neighboring district, or how much money a district is actually collecting, this is where to look.
