WHO Noncommunicable Disease Mortality

In most countries, you won't die from an infectious disease like malaria or tuberculosis. Instead, you're more likely to die from heart disease, cancer, diabetes, or lung problems. This data shows the odds a 30-year-old faces of dying from one of these four diseases before hitting 70. It's tracked by the WHO for every country in the world, updated yearly, and broken down by men and women so you can see if one gender faces higher risk. For example, someone in a high-income country might have a 10% chance, while someone elsewhere faces 25% or higher odds.
