World Population Prospects

How many people will live on Earth in 2050? In 2100? This dataset has population counts going back to 1950 and official UN predictions stretching to the end of this century. You can see how many people lived in any country in any year since 1950, then compare that to what the UN expects in the future. Useful if you're trying to understand global population trends, plan cities, or figure out how many workers or retirees a country might have decades from now.
