District Enrollment by Demographics
Every public school district in the US reports how many students they have. This dataset shows those enrollment numbers broken down by race and ethnicity, grade level, and whether students are male or female. Instead of just knowing "School District X has 50,000 students," you can see exactly how many are in 3rd grade, how many are Asian, how many are in high school, and so on. The data is from the 2024-25 school year, so it's recent. It's useful if you want to see how diverse different districts are, whether certain grades are overcrowded, or how enrollment patterns vary across the country.
