FEC Candidate-Committee Linkage
During an election, candidates set up official committees to raise and spend money. Sometimes they have multiple committees, like their main campaign committee plus affiliated PACs. This dataset is basically a phone book that says 'Candidate X works with Committee Y.' It's the key to understanding campaign money flows, because contribution data lists committees, but voters care about candidates. Use this table to connect the dots between money coming in and which candidate that money supports.
