Cancer Incidence by State (USCS)
How many people get cancer each year in your state, and is it going up or down? This data answers that question for 24 years and every major cancer type. The numbers are adjusted for age so you can compare fairly across states even if they have different population ages. You get the actual count of cases, the rate per 100,000 people, and breakdowns by race and sex so you can see patterns in who's affected. It's the CDC's official cancer statistics, used by public health officials, researchers, and hospitals to track trends and plan cancer prevention programs.
