Residential Demolitions

Austin tears down a lot of houses. This dataset logs every residential demolition permit the city has issued, showing where teardowns happen, when they were approved, and what type of property was demolished. If you want to see which neighborhoods are getting completely rebuilt, or understand Austin's development patterns, you can cross-reference this with new construction permits to see the full story of old houses becoming new ones.
